Welcome
To participants on the Facet5 and 360 Review Programme for the Team West Midlands Partnership.
This web page is to provide you with all the information you need to enjoy and get the most out
of this programme.
Being able to lead yourself is an essential ingredient to lead and manage a successful team or
project. This development opportunity uses two powerful tools to help participants to understand
more about themselves. This programme is for existing and potential managers who want to fulfil
their potential and be the best they can be.
The diagram illustrates how the process will work for individual participants.
Facet5 Personality Tool – Who Are You?
Our personalities are shaped in our early years and stay with us for the rest of our lives,
unless we have a life changing experience. Facet5 is a psychometric tool proven to be accurate
and reliable and used worldwide for personal and business development. It is designed to measure
the five fundamental ‘building blocks’ which are relatively stable and consistent and make you
what you are. From this picture you can develop ideas about the way you are likely to react or
behave in different situations. The process involves completion of a short on-line questionnaire.
360 Review Tool – How Do Others See You?
How you operate is a mixture of your education, experience, skills and competencies as well as
your personality and behaviour. Gaining insight on how your colleagues perceive you provides
invaluable information on your strengths and areas for development. A 360 review asks your line
manager, as well as a small number of your peers and people who you lead and supervise for their
views on you on a confidential basis. The process involves up to eight of your colleagues and
yourself completing a short on-line questionnaire.
Individual Feedback
An experienced coach will take you through the results of the two questionnaires on a
confidential basis. The session will also give you an opportunity for reflection and to
identify and explore areas of personal development that you want to work on.
Personal Action Planning
All participants will be encouraged to work up their own personal action plan. You will also be
encouraged to buddy up with another participant to provide each other with mutual support to help
you both keep on track with your action plans.
