From planning to delivery this conference was a team effort which captured and rekindled the
spirit of ‘Team West Midlands’. Special thanks go to all of the members of the Conference
Steering Group, the two MCs, the conference speakers, the trainers and contributors for the
personal development workshops and the facilitators and experts of the action learning groups.
The conference was made special by the creative performances of each of the core teams from
the County Sports Partnerships and Sport England’s West Midlands Regional Office in portraying
their success stories and challenges ahead. Such collective effort demonstrates the strength
of partnership working within the Region and the depth and breadth of talent available to draw upon.
EVENT OBJECTIVES
The objectives for the conference were to:
- Provide an opportunity for personal development
- Recognise and celebrate success
- Share learning across the Region in key areas that do not have an established network group
